SwissLegal – at the heart of the international debate on judicial quality
SwissLegal at the Second International Justice Conference in Riyadh
Dr Nicolas Rouiller, Attorney-at-law and Partner at SwissLegal Rouiller & Associés Avocats, and Dr François Paychère, Counsel to the firm, each presented their perspectives during two roundtables dedicated to quality control in the field of justice (“Control of Judicial Quality”). These took place during the plenary sessions of the 2nd International Conference on Justice, organised by the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 23 and 24 November 2025. The conference brought together 4,000 participants, including nearly 50 international speakers.
Both, Dr Rouiller and Dr Paychère then jointly held a seminar on the interactions between arbitration and state courts, aiming to clarify their significance in measuring judicial quality – the core theme of the conference. The 80 legal professionals in attendance engaged very actively, asking highly relevant questions well beyond the time initially allocated to the seminar.
